FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)

We do not collect or store student-identifiable data. If we ever process educational records on behalf of a school or district, we do so only under contract and in compliance with FERPA as a school official with legitimate educational interest. Schools retain control of any student data shared, and we only use it for authorized purposes. No student data is shared with third parties.

Mountain Math/Language LLC provides educational materials and services to schools, including U.S.-based institutions operating internationally. As a result, some users may be located in the European Union or European Economic Area (EU/EEA).

If we collect personal information such as names, email addresses, shipping addresses, or phone numbers for the purposes of fulfilling orders or providing customer support, we do so under the lawful basis of contract fulfillment or legitimate interest. Data Retention and Control

We retain customer order and billing information in our accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks) for as long as necessary to comply with tax, legal, and financial reporting obligations. This may include indefinite retention of purchase records for audit and service reference purposes.

Other personal information, such as email contact details, is retained only as long as necessary to provide service, support, or communication, or until you request its deletion.

We do not collect student-identifiable data and therefore do not retain any such records.

Analytics data collected via Google Analytics is retained for up to 14 months for internal use and website performance monitoring.
